SpaceX's Third Starship Flight Test Targeted for March 14
Company Schedules Livestream of Historic Orbital Attempt

SpaceX is gearing up for the third flight test of its Starship vehicle, targeting March 14 as the launch date, according to a post on X (formerly Twitter). The event will mark the first Starship test of 2024 and the company's hopes for a historic orbital flight of the world's largest rocket.
The next-generation Starship megarocket launched on a stunning third-ever test flight today, March 14, remarkably completing many of its mission objectives. For the third time in less than a year, SpaceX launched the Super HeavyStarship rocket and achieved a significant number of test objectives.
Starship returned to integrated flight testing with its third launch from Starbase in Texas. While the test was not conducted in a lab or on a test stand, it was a major milestone for SpaceX's ambitious project.
SpaceX's Starship Super Heavy flight test number three successfully launched at 9:25AM ET and flew until it was lost during reentry into Earth's atmosphere.
