Conference to Focus on Massive Investments for Ukraine's Reconstruction

Germany and Ukraine to Co-Host Event on June 11-12, 2024

Germany has announced that it will co-host the international Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) with Ukraine in Berlin on June 11-12, 2024. The conference will focus on securing massive investments for Ukraine's reconstruction efforts amid the ongoing conflict in the country.

In preparation for the conference, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) organized a technical preparatory meeting to establish a solid foundation for URC2024. The conference will open with an address by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Germany and Ukraine will host the conference despite the ongoing fighting in Ukraine. The aim of the event is to attract substantial international investment to support Ukraine's reconstruction and recovery. The conference will bring together representatives from governments, international organizations, and the private sector to discuss and coordinate efforts towards Ukraine's post-conflict rebuilding.
