Simply enter your trip details into the Trip Planner and select July 1st as the date to view the new fares.
Fare Increases
Effective July 1st, the price of a one-zone local bus ticket will rise from \$1.60 to \$1.80. Additionally, bus fares from Jersey City to Newark will increase from \$4.50 to \$4.80. These adjustments are necessary to maintain the reliability and efficiency of NJ TRANSIT services.
Flexpass Option
For those seeking flexibility, NJ TRANSIT also offers Flexpasses. Announced on Monday, Flexpasses allow riders to purchase 20 one-way tickets between a customer-selected origin station and a destination of their choice. This option provides a convenient and cost-effective way to travel frequently between specific locations.
