Bears to play in primetime on ESPN's Monday Night Football

Bears will play their first home primetime game against the Patriots in Week 7

The game on Oct. 24 will air on ESPN's Monday Night Football

The Bears announced their 2022 NFL schedule on Thursday, and they will play in prime time for the first time this season when they host the New England Patriots on "Monday Night Football" in Week 7. The game will be played on Oct. 24 at 7:15 p.m. CT.

"We're excited to have our first home prime-time game of the season on Monday Night Football against the Patriots," said Bears head coach Matt Eberflus. "It's going to be a great atmosphere at Soldier Field, and we're looking forward to putting on a good show for our fans."

The Bears have a 1-0 record against the Patriots in "Monday Night Football" games. They defeated the Patriots 33-26 in Week 12 of the 2018 season.
